went here last tuesday had fantastic service and the food was incredible, whilst there i saw three 'fish and chips' of the month certificates. definitely worth the money if i say so.

If I could give this no stars trust me I would! Been today and it by far the worst fish and chip shop I've ever been in and I've been in a fair few! The staff are very rude with no customer service skills what so ever and the food was unfit for human consumption...I'm surprised that the food standards agency haven't payed a visit it's that bad! For an adult and a child of 7 it came to £18 and we had fish and chips a pie and a sausage and two drinks..I would have payed double if the food was decent so it wasn't the fact that I'm a Scrooge and didn't want to pay the prices it was just daylight robbery for the quality of the food that we got served. After complaining about the food the staff was rude and the manager acted like a rabid dog that needed putting down with the verbal I received..wouldn't have happened if the would have apologised for there general lack of knowledge on how to fry fish and chips correctly! A very poor state for a fish shop and I will never be returning and will make sure no one else makes the same mistake we did save your money and your health too!

I have been going to chippies plaice for years and I was extremely disappointed when I went there for lunch the other day and was served the smallest of fish. More like a fish finger! The prices are also very high
